Database Administrator performs all activities related to maintaining a successful database environment:

Tables and files clean-up, refreshing and maintaining indexes, check and design capacity, controllingand monitoring user access to the database,monitor and optimizing the performance of the database, fixing errors, checking databaseintegration, planningand checking backup and recovery jobs.

Who needs it?

All ERP-System needs to be maintained and managed towork properly.

When is it done?

Every Day (monitor backups, capacity,performance, and processes of Priority).

Every Week (integrity check, optimizeperformance, files, and tables clean-up).

Every 3 Months (manual review and checks, restore from backup check)

Why?

To keep the database and Priority up and running at all times, prevent data-loss and corruption, maintain high performance, have a recovery option in case of failure, manufacturer’s recommendations (Priority-software and Microsoft).
